Getting started
What is Trustdepo?↓︎

TrustDepo is a UK secure third-party transaction management platform. Both parties agree on terms, the buyer makes a secure payment through our regulated payment partner, and payment is released once the buyer confirms the transaction is complete.

Who can use Trustdepo?↓︎

Anyone in the UK aged 18 or over. Individuals and businesses can use TrustDepo after completing identity verification.

How do I create a transaction?↓︎

Open the app, tap the orange plus button, fill in the deal details, and invite the other party by email or phone. Once both sides accept, the buyer funds the transaction.

Payments & fees
How much does TrustDepo cost?↓︎

TrustDepo charges 3.5% of the transaction value plus a flat 50p, deducted when funds are released. There is no monthly subscription, setup fee, or charge if a deal is cancelled.

Who pays the fee?↓︎

By default, the fee is deducted from what the seller receives. You can agree for the buyer to cover the fee in the transaction terms.

What happens if I cancel a deal?↓︎

If a deal is cancelled before payment is made, no fee is charged. If payment has already been processed, it is returned to the buyer in full minus any applicable processing costs.

Safety & security
Is my money safe with TrustDepo?↓︎

Yes. Payments are securely processed through our regulated payment partner. TrustDepo uses AES-256 encryption and multi-factor authentication.

How is identity verified?↓︎

Every user completes KYC verification using a UK passport, driving licence, or Companies House details. Verification is completed in the app, usually in minutes.

Can someone take my money fraudulently?↓︎

No. Payment can only be released when the buyer explicitly approves the transaction. If a dispute arises, our team reviews the information provided by both parties.

Disputes
What happens if there is a dispute?↓︎

Either party can raise a dispute during the inspection period. Our team reviews the information provided while the payment remains in the structured workflow.

How long does dispute resolution take?↓︎

Most disputes are resolved within 2–5 business days. More complex cases may take longer, and you will be kept updated throughout.

Is dispute support free?↓︎

Yes. Dispute support is included as part of your fee, with no additional charge.

Use cases
Can I use TrustDepo to sell a car?↓︎
